WHO IS

Oh Hey! I'm Luci

a creative Designer with over 10 years experience within the design industry

I call myself a Creative Designer because my experience, skill set and interests span Graphic Design, Branding, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Murals and more. Basically, if itā€™s creative, Iā€™m up for it!

Originally from West Sussex, I developed my graphic design skills in Australia, tested them in Brighton, refined them in London, and am now bringing it all together while living in beautiful Cornwall with my partner and dog.

Iā€™ve had the pleasure of working freelance and in house with big brands like Ted Baker and Urban Outfitters as a Visual Merchandiser, Senior Graphic Designer for Oliver Bonas, created illustrated books and covers for Summersdale Publishers, and even designed a Christmas window mural for Ask Italian. These roles gave me tons of experience, which I now bring forward to support independent brands with the same dedication and creative energy. From artists to therapists, festivals to restaurants, Iā€™m always open to exciting collaborations, big or small.

My biggest project so far has been Bolla, a cafƩ, deli, and bottle shop based in Porthleven, Cornwall. I worked closely with the owner to create the entire brand identity and merchandise. I also designed, painted, and fitted their first standalone premises, handling everything from the interior design, fittings and finishing touches, bringing the whole vision to life.

In addition to my design work, I founded Hand and Palm, my own independent business where I sell my art and other lovely things. Itā€™s my way of bringing my style to life, from opening my own little shop to working with big and small brands to showcase my products. Itā€™s been a creative journey thatā€™s brought my graphic design, branding, and retail knowledge together in exciting ways. Along the way, Hand and Palm has been featured in a range of publications, from Stylist to BBC Good Food to The Guardianā€”a nice reminder that doing what you love can lead to some pretty cool things.

I love getting stuck in with the local community, creating events that bring people together. One of my favourites has been Stuffed with Style, a clothes-swapping event where I gave it some branded love - so attendees left with a stylish bag they could use every day, not just at the event.

I also created Celebration of Illustration, a showcase that celebrates both local and UK-wide illustrators by bringing them all together under one roof for everyone to enjoy. Alongside stunning art, there was food, music and even a pop-up tattoo artist! Iā€™m always about bringing well-designed, welcoming vibes to any event
